Worked for a few days then an update installed and now steps aren't being counted at all; not in challenges, not in global step counts. It seems that phone locking is not being handled properly; if I walk around with phone unlocked I get some steps. Tried re-registering health app permissions, reinstalling etc. Just broken, seems like it would take too long to get a reward anyway.

as with what others have said, since the last update the step counter is wildly inaccurate, raised it with them but just told to reinstall the app, also requires an internet connection now before you can start tracking a walk, hangs sometimes while trying to start and causes you to miss a portion of the walk waiting for it, terrible app design.

The step challenges have become unreliable - I know I have met the target for maximum points, but the app says that I was close and I get no points, suggesting that the step counting algorithm has changed recently or the app is missing steps.
