For everybody who have had issues with the app, and for all those considering the app, it's on Amazon Prime Video subscriptions for the same price with a 7-day free trial, and I bet you won't have any issues through Prime Video. Pure Flix will still get their money because it's the same price, but it's not on a poorly developed and maintained app. Just my two cents.

Pros Great family friendly content. Cons You have to sign in every time. The app on the TV will not stay logged in and there is no way to log in from your phone or computer for it to work on your TV. It takes 5 minutes or more at times to sign in. I can type easier on my phone. It cuts off in the middle of a show. By then you give up and find another streaming option.

App has trouble casting. I've been subscribed for a couple of years, and it's still hit or miss if I'll be able to cast. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the app multiple times. Rebooted phone and Chromecast. Recently, when it does finally cast, the frames glitch, and the sound is not in sync. No complaints about the content, just the app.
